A Praying Church is a 10 week long course that is part of Houses of Light School of Discipleship. During these weeks you will be truly immersed in what it means to be part of a church that is called to pray day and night (Isaiah 62:6-7) and the heart of God towards prayer and intercession.
Each class will be led by our prayer room staff, who will guide you through moments of worship and teach you about your identity as an intercessor through scripture. You will be surrounded by other students and be assigned homework from our workbook. After this course you will leave equipped with practical tools you can apply in your personal prayer life so you can continue to grow in deeper intimacy with Jesus!
Who can take this course?
Any person who has completed School of Discipleship level 1 and 2.
When do we meet?
We meet Mondays at 7:00-9:00 at Houses of Light Church
Can I take the course online?
Yes, this course is offfered via Zoom for students who cannot attend in perdon. But if you live in the Los Angeles Area we do recommend you join in person.
Are there course materials I have to purchase?
Yes, there is a workbook where homework will be assigned and can be purchased upon registration, which can be mailed or picked up in our library.
