We are Heartbeat, the prayer room of our vibrant bilingual church, Houses of Light. Our calling is to establish a resting place to host the presence of God, here in Los Angeles. Since we first launched in 2009, we have sustained more than 14 years of constant prayer and worship, trusting that His presence transforms everything. Our team is passionate about facilitating a space where people can connect deeply with Jesus. Not only do we have passion for Jesus, but also for others.
That's why our weekly prayer sets focus on hosting the presence of Jesus and interceding for families, government, the pro-life movement, Israel, healing the sick, gen-z, the nations, and other needs that burn in our hearts. We have witnessed how God moves powerfully through our prayers, hearing numerous testimonies of tangible transformation. We long to see His work manifest. “Construye” is our annual dinner, where you can get to know us more and discover the vision that God has given us as a prayer room.

Over the course of a year, we spend over 1,664 hours in our daily prayer and worship sets.

Every year over 150 students attend our school, A Praying Church, in person. Through this course students learn all about prayer, intercession and scripture.

Once a month our Ministry Night gathers around 400 people who come to praise the Lord, as our staff leads worship and ministers to them.

Each month we host Healing and Prophetic Ministries where our staff prays over the sick and prophecies to bring encouragement to over 70 people collectively.

We have over 80 people who love to volunteer in our prayer room using their skills and talents as musicians, intercessors, media, sound, security, greeters, teachers, and more.

There are 20 missionaries who comprise our staff. They are committed to 8-20+ hours per week serving in the prayer room.

What is the Fundraising Dinner?

Is there a cost to attend?
No, dinner is completely free. We only ask that you please register to reserve your seats so we can serve you better.
